Here is Exhibit A, Pedro, the extraordinarily cute and healthy little chunk of a jaguar in Sonora, Mexico. He and his beautiful mom, Libélula, live on the Northern Jaguar Reserve, the creation of the Northern Jaguar Project. Pedro and his compadres represent the northernmost breeding population of jaguars in the world and they are probably the source of the animals found in Arizona and New Mexico. Photos such as this show that the NJP is doing a great job of protecting el tigre, so take a minute to visit their site and give them a few bucks. Thanks!
