I am nearly done reading Wild Again by David S. Jachowski and it’s been a very enjoyable (if depressing) journey into the world of black-footed ferret reintroduction. It really gives you an idea of what it’s like to work with a critically endangered species; the politics, the successes, the threats (plague, anyone?) and the beauty of the American Great Plains. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in the life of a field biologist, carnivore restoration and one man’s professional, intellectual and personal journey. Kudos to Jachowski!!
Very cool book
